Form And Function

This project exemplifies a central theme in architecture, the relationship between form and function. There have been many debates as to whether a building's form should express its function or should it be independent in regards to its function. The use of convergent diagrams, divergent-solutions, and conceptual combinations in creating ideas are integrated. My goal was to utilize movements from mechanical elements and create a passage with a 30’ by 40 opening.
